The Lists menu now includes an option for defining "Growers" which represent people or organizations that have one or more locations or blocks of land. As illustrated below, the Growers screen provides a list of growers and includes the ability to sort and search.
Click the Create Grower button to create a new grower record which will appear in the list above. Click the grower's row to display the Grower Details screen which is illustrated below.
Within the Grower Details Screen, notice the Edit button which allows for changing the Code, Name and status of a grower. The Manage Locations button will present a list of all locations and allow you to select the locations which should be associated with the grower.
The value of creating grower records with related locations will be realized by mobile application users when clocking workers into jobs. On the mobile app clock-in screen, the crew leader can select a grower then select from the list of associated locations.
The Delete button will display a confirmation prompt for removing the grower. Doing so does not affect any location records but does remove any relationship with the deleted grower.
2. Predefined Notes
The Lists menu now includes an option for managing Predefined Notes which are phrases that may be commonly entered into the notes field of Time Sheets and employee Time Sheet Records.
As illustrated, common phrases may be predefined in the back office and given names such as "All Complete" or "Completely Rained Out". In the field, the mobile app user can save time when entering notes by selecting from the list of pre-defined phrases. As they do so, the text is appended into the notes field just as if they typed it manually.
3. Time Sheet Billing Summary Report
The Time Sheet Billing Summary Report may be used to compare hourly and piece labor costs with what may be billable. As illustrated below, the report parameters include fields for entering Piece and Hourly Billing Rates for employees and crew leaders. When generated, the report will calculate total billing costs based on these parameters as well as actual pieces
