Sending mobile app invitations
Employees can download and install the mobile app then log in with the Phone Number and Access Code that you provide to them.
To simplify mobile app deployment, Time Portal can send text message to selected employees that include a link to download instructions as well as the Phone Number and Access Code that are required to log in. As illustrated below, they will receive a text message that identifies your company as the sender.
To send the invitation, please ensure the Phone Number, Mobile App Mode and Access code have been specified then click the Send Invitation button on the Mobile App Tab near the bottom of the Employee Detail Screen.
Time Portal will send the text message and add the invitation to the list as shown below. Initially, the status will be queued which indicates the message has been submitted to the telecommunications carrier. Click the Refresh List button and look for an updated status of delivered which indicates the message was actually sent.
The Responses column will let you know how many times the employee has clicked on the link within the text message. The link will take them to the support topic that describes how to Download Time Portal Mobile.
