New

1. Uoms can now be imported

Units of measure can now be imported into Time Portal through the Import Data spreadsheet. As illustrated below, the UOM Name and Spanish Name can be imported.

2. Reasons can now be imported

Reasons can now be imported into Time Portal through the Import Data spreadsheet. As illustrated below, the Reason Code, Description, Spanish Description, Is Active (Status), and Hours Refused can be imported.

3. Jobs can now be imported

Jobs can now be imported into Time Portal through the Import Data spreadsheet. As illustrated below, the Job Code, Spanish Name, Name, Pay Type, Hourly Rate, Minimum Wage Rate, Piece Rate, UOM Name, Ignore Time, Has Precedence, and Is Active (Status) can be imported.

4. Growers can now be imported

Growers can now be imported into Time Portal through the Import Data spreadsheet. As illustrated below, the Grower Code, Name, and Is Active (Status) can be imported. Locations can also be assigned to growers through the spreadsheet by providing a proper Grower Code on the Locations worksheet.

5. Predefined Notes can now be imported

Predefined Notes can now be imported into Time Portal through the Import Data spreadsheet. As illustrated below, the Name, Spanish Name, and Note can be imported. 

6. All import worksheets now allow renaming unique identifiers 

Each worksheet in the import spreadsheet now provides a new column in the second position called New Name / New Code. This column allows the user to change the Code or Name of the record in bulk. This is extremely helpful when the naming convention of Codes/Names need to be changed within Time Portal. Previously users would have to rename each record individually within the web app.

Updates

1. Employees import worksheet can import additional data

The Employees worksheet in the import spreadsheet has been updated to allow the importing of these additional fields: Phone Number and Mobile App Mode. The addition of these new fields in the import spreadsheet will help facilitate setting up employees to use the new Time Portal phone apps. 

2. Crews import worksheet can import additional data

The Crews worksheet in the import spreadsheet has been updated to allow the importing of these additional fields: Is Active (Status), Hourly Rate and Minimum Wage Rate. Previously only Code and Name could be imported.

3. Locations import worksheet can import additional data

The Locations worksheet in the import spreadsheet has been updated to allow the importing of these additional fields: Spanish Name, Is Active (Status), Acres, Address, and Grower Code. Grower Code can be used to assign Locations to a Grower record. Previously only Name and Description could be imported.

4. Crop / Varieties import worksheet can import additional data

The Crop / Varieties worksheet in the import spreadsheet has been updated to allow the importing of these additional fields: Spanish Name, and Is Active (Status). Previously only Name and Description could be imported.

5. Error messages have been improved on the import screen

When a problem occurs when importing data through the import screen, Time Portal now issues more helpful error messages to users. As illustrated below, error messages now provide more detail as to where the error is occurring and how to potentially fix it.

6. Import Data screen has been widened

The Import Data screen has been widened to allow more room to display users data. The wider screen allows more data to be viewed with ease.

7. Import Data screen detail tables have been updated

The Import Data screen provides a detail review of each imported record type. Uoms, Reasons, Jobs, Growers, and Predefined Notes have been added to the screen. Employees, Crews, Locations, and Crop/Varieties have been updated to include the additional fields added to the import spreadsheet. 

Fixes

1. Data is now properly formatted in the import spreadsheet

The import spreadsheet has been updated to properly display dollar values, numbers and alphanumeric data. Inconsistencies were found within the template which have been corrected.

2. Data is now properly formatted on the Import Data screen

The Import Data screen did not properly display dollar values, numbers or other data being imported. The data tables have been improved to properly handle data formatting.
