How to fix weight scale problems with weight scale

Error on screen: 0 - - - -

To fix: Hold Setup until Config shows on the screen

Select Down (Acc/Total)

Select Down (Acc/Total)

Select Enter (Tare/Preset)
-
Select Enter (Tare/Preset) to Zero out the scale (Recalibrate)
-
Scale will recalibrate and should show 0.00lb on the screen when finished

Tablet showing error when scanning employee badge or Not showing

Open Time Portal app on tablet
-
Navigate to First Screen in Time Portal, Select Settings Button in Top Right
-
Select Settings
-
Scroll all the way to the bottom, select Set up under Scale Settings
-
Settings must be set to:
-
Baud Rate: 9600
-
Bits: 8
-
Parity: N
-
Stop Bits: 1
-
Select Com # (Number is different per computer, This is the weight scale connected through USB and you must select the Com item listed.)
-
If Com # is not listed, Connect scale to multi-USB port and make sure Multi-USB is connected to the computer
-
If Com # is still not showing after connected to tablet and scale, the multi-USB port may be defective and should be replaced

Problem should be solved.

Most errors of tablet not reading scale
-
!IMPORTANT! - Com 1 and Com 2 ports must be setup the same on the scale. They can be setup under the User settings on the scale. The COM2 port's OUTPUT MODE needs to be set to CMD as seen in the below screen shot. This allows Time Portal to communicate with the scale. If this setting is not updated, Time Portal will not be able to retrieve the weight. To do so please watch setup video and follow along:
