Time Portal will automatically update from the Microsoft Store if the computer is connected to the internet and allowed to update. Automatic updates must be turned on for this to occur. If not, the software can be manually updated. To update Time Portal manually, please follow the instructions below.
1. Open the Microsoft Store by typing store in the Windows search bar located at the bottom left hand corner of your screen.
2. This will perform a search for the Microsoft Store and display the link to open the application. Click the Microsoft Store App. (see image below)
3. When the store opens, type Time Portal into the search bar located at the top right hand side of the app. You will see the Time Portal Icon display in the list of search results. Click on the Time Portal app.
4. Navigating to this page will cause the Store to check your version of the application. If there is a newer version of the app in the store, the application will begin to update.
Note: To check what version of Time Portal you have installed, please see the article How to tell which version you are using.
Another method of updating the application through the store is to click the ellipsis (three dots ...) located at the top right-hand corner of the store app, and then click the Downloads and updates link.
On the Downloads and updates screen, you will see Time Portal with the version number, as well as a button at the top right-hand corner called Get Updates. Click the button Get Updates to update the software to the latest version.
