A photo can be associated with each employee and optionally displayed next to the employee’s name within the Time Sheet Mobile application. If the photo has been previously uploaded by another Time Portal Mobile device, it will be automatically downloaded to the mobile app for use while offline. Otherwise, if your mobile device has a camera, you can use the Capture Employee Photos feature to take photos that will be associated with employees.
Taking Employee Photos
To capture employee phones,
1. Tap on the Enroll workers button on the Home screen.
On the Enroll Workers screen, there is a drop down list of Crews. The selected crew's workers will be displayed in the list below.
1. Select the crew that you wish to take photos for.
2. Tap the photo icon next to the worker you wish to take a photo of.
Capturing employee photos
When the Time Sheet screen is in this mode, the camera will be activated each time you tap on an employee’s photo icon in the Time Sheet list.
Just center the employee’s face in the frame and tap the camera button to capture the image.
And here's the second window for cropping the portion of the employee photo you wish to keep.
After the picture is cropped and saved, it will appear next to the employee if the Show employee photos option is selected in the Time Portal Mobile settings and will also be uploaded to the web application once the device is synchronized. The picture will be downloaded to other mobile devices after they have been synchronized as well.
Important: Be sure to give permission for taking photos if prompted by Windows. If you answer "No" to the question, you can go into Windows and select Start->Settings->Privacy->Camera to manage camera permissions.
