The Hourly Rate Summary Report is similar to the Time Sheet Summary Report which summarizes the shifts/pieces/hours worked by employee for each time sheet for a specified date range. The difference is that the Hourly Rate Summary Report also identifies the Hourly Rate(s) paid to each employee, each day, as well as the total number of employees who were earned each Hourly Rate. This report is useful in situations where employees from different worker contracts are working at the same time.
The report prints in date order (based on date range) and then by time sheet. For each employee, it includes pieces, hours, hourly rates, the earliest time in, the latest time out, and the employee signature.
To print the Hourly Rate Summary report, click the Reports drop-down menu at the top of the screen. Then click Hourly Rate Summary.
The Hourly Rate Summary provides multiple options for generating the report. Select the Start and End Date (usually the pay period dates), Crew, Employees, Jobs, Location and Crop/Variety, Time Sheet Status (Uploaded, Approved, Complete), Time Sheet Number, and Report Type, (the report can be generated as a PDF or Excel Spreadsheet). If nothing is selected, the report will include all data (i.e. all crews, all employees, all jobs etc.). Make the desired selections and click Get Report.
The report header displays the parameters for which the report was printed which includes the Date (1), Time Sheet Number (2), Crew (3) and report criteria such as date range, statuses and grouping options. Notice the Hourly Rates (3) identifies the total number of workers who performed work at each listed Hourly Rate.
The detail for each employee includes pieces, hours, earliest Time In, latest Time Out, and the Employee Signature, if collected. Notice also the Hourly Rate (5) identifies the hourly rate paid to each worker during the day. As illustrated, one worker was paid at two hourly rates during the same day because she worked a differently paid job during the afternoon.
