Individual Employee records can be updated through the Employee List by clicking on the employee name then clicking the Edit button on the Employee Detail Screen. This allows for changing the Employee's name, number, badge, crew assignment, status, rates and other information.
Certain information including as the employee status, crew assignment, hourly rate and minimum wage can be applied to multiple employees at once using the Select Multiple option on the Employee List.
After clicking Select Multiple, notice the list includes checkboxes next to each employee's name. You may check individual rows or bulk select by clicking one row, holding the Shift Key, and then clicking another row.
With one or more employees selected, click the Edit Selected Records button. As illustrated below, this will display a pop-up window that allows entry of an Active Status, H2A Status, Hourly Rate, Minimum Wage Rate or Crew. You can also specify whether the employee Badge Number should be removed in order to reuse badges with a new set of employees.
As suggested by the on-screen instructions, Time Portal will only update the fields for which you specify a value. If you enter a value for Crew and leave all other fields untouched, Time Portal will assign the selected Crew to each selected employee and will not alter the Status, H2A Status or rates. If you wish to remove an Hourly Rate or Wage Rate, do not enter a zero, as this will set those rates to "0". Instead, enter a value of "-1" to instruct Time Portal to clear the rates.
Once you've specified the desired changes, click the Save button to perform the update. In the illustration below, the selected employees will be marked as Inactive and their badge assignments will be cleared.
