Clocking Out

The Time Portal Android and IOS apps can be used to track hourly and piece work activity by Clocking workers into jobs.  In order to ensure that all time is captured, many organizations do not clock out employees until the end of the day.  Gaps in time can be eliminated by clocking workers into "break" or "travel" jobs then back into work jobs throughout the day.

At the end of the day, each worker must be "clocked out" to place an end time onto the employee's last Time Sheet Record.  Time Portal determines the hours for each worker by adding the durations for all of the day's Time Sheet Records.

• In Crew Mode, groups of employees can be clocked out at the same time within the Employees List or within a Time Sheet. See the topic Selecting Multiple Employees
  
  
• Also in Crew Mode, employees can be individually clocked out from the Employee Time Sheet screen
  
  
• In Single Mode, the user can tap the "Clock Out" button on the Home View

With one or more employees selected, the "Clock Out" button displays the Clock Out screen which is illustrated below. The "Employees" link will display the names of employees to be clocked out. Tap the "Clock Out" button to perform the clock out.
